Privacy policy

What we collect

Only what the service needs:

• Your account: name, email address or phone number, and password (stored encrypted by our sign-in provider). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
• Your choices: whether you use the app as a customer or a business owner, your language, and how the Arabic interface addresses you.
• What business owners publish: the business name, category, description, address and map pin, phone numbers, opening hours, photos, menu or products, prices and offers. This is public.
• Messages between customers and businesses, the reviews you write (shown publicly with your name), and the places you save.
• Photos you choose to upload.
• A notification token for your phone, so we can send you notifications you allowed.
• Counts of page views and contact taps for each business. These counts are not linked to you.

Location

If you allow it, the app uses your phone’s location to show places near you. This stays on your phone and is not saved on our servers. You can pick a town by hand instead, and turn location off at any time in your phone’s settings.

A business’s map pin is saved and shown publicly, so customers can find the shop.

How we use it

To run Bekaa360: show businesses, deliver messages and notifications, manage business subscriptions, answer support requests, and remove abusive content. We do not show ads, we do not sell your data, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

Who else handles it

We do not sell or rent your data. It is handled only by the services that run Bekaa360 for us:

• Supabase: our database, sign-in and photo storage.
• Expo and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging: delivering notifications to your phone.
• Google: only if you choose to sign in with Google.
• Resend: sending sign-up and password-reset emails.

What is public

Business pages and their content, and reviews with the reviewer’s name, can be seen by anyone using Bekaa360. Messages are private between the customer and the business.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. When an account is deleted, its profile, business page, photos, messages, reviews and saved places are deleted with it, unless the law requires us to keep something.

Deleting your account

You can ask us to delete your Bekaa360 account and its data at any time:

• Send a WhatsApp message to +961 81 440 046, or an email to devmawebsites@gmail.com, from the phone number or email address of the account.
• Write «Delete my Bekaa360 account» and the account’s email or phone number.

We delete the account within 30 days and confirm when it is done. This cannot be undone.

Your choices

You can change your name and language in the app, turn notifications and location off in your phone’s settings, and ask us for a copy of your data or to correct it, using the contacts below.

Children

Bekaa360 is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Security

Data travels encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are stored encrypted, and each account can only read and change its own private data.

Changes and contact
